Inline board with the rear wheel swapped out for a 36v 1000W hub motor. 16” wheels, Flipsky 75100 ESC w/ VX1 remote. Excels at gravel rail trails and offroad riding. A bit sketchy to ride at slower speeds, but becomes more stable the faster you go.
Lead Acid Cruiser Electric Skateboard
Wanted to build a lead acid powered electric skateboard to see how it compares to modern eskates. Three 12v 9ah SLA AGM batteries wired in series to produce a 36v nominal pack. They are not deep-cycle batteries. Cheap dropdown deck, 83mm wheels. Powers a single 500W belt drive motor. Range tested to 12km. Custom 3D printed ‘battery brick’ to house the batteries
Shaboardz MTN Board
I needed an All-Terrain mountainboard for skatepacking; I thought I’d combine it with a custom-build 12S1P 32140 Sodium Ion battery, to evaluate it as a PEV power source.
