Applications:

Design:
Original design by Michel Seguin
This item is designed on a computer and then 3D-printed using a desktop 3D Printer.
Dimensions:
Total dimensions of assembled saw: Roughly 38cm x 28cm 4cm
Weight: Approximately 537g (including blade)
Materials Guide:
3D printed in solid ABS
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a common thermoplastic polymer used in many industries due to it's resilient nature. A solid all-around material good for things that need a good blend of strength and resistance to wear.
Tools & Installation:
Insert Stretcher inserts into corresponding holes in each handle.
Insert blade into slots in base of handle, pushing all the way down into the slot.
Secure with two dowel 'pegs' as shown in the pictures.
Loop cordage through tops of handles and through Toggle. Pull cordage tight until you see the bottom of the handles pushing firmly up against the dowels.
Tie off the cordage.
Use the toggle to wind the cordage as taut as you feel safe doing, then let the toggle rest up against the Stretcher crossbeam. (You want the blade to be under as much tension as you can so it doesn't warp while sawing). Note: You'll notice the two handle tops getting warped inward under tension. This is normal.
You can completely dissassemble it for portability to take into the backcountry!
Note: Don't keep your saw stored permanently under tension, especially while hot; it might permanently deform the plastic. I recommend that while not in use, you back off the tension a few winds.

- 1x Buck Saw Handle, Left Side
- 1x Buck Saw Handle, Right Side
